Minister Younes Sekkouri Highlights the Role of Artificial Intelligence in Vocational Training and Employability at CGEM Conference

Mr. Younes Sekkouri, Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment, and Skills, participated in a conference organized by the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) on the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on vocational training and employability.

This conference provided an opportunity to discuss current applications of artificial intelligence and their effects on learning methods and the management of vocational training institutions, while anticipating future changes in jobs and skills.

In this context, the Minister emphasized that the Ministry of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment, and Skills is currently training more than 27,000 trainees in digitization and artificial intelligence through 448 vocational training institutions. He expressed the ambition to strengthen this offering by integrating practical and innovative tools to develop the vocational training system and improve employability.

Furthermore, a partnership agreement was signed between the National Agency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills (ANAPEC), the Moroccan Federation of Professional Education (FMEP), and the Federation of Private Education (FEP). This agreement aims to support the institutions affiliated with these federations by strengthening their training capacities and facilitating the professional integration of their graduates.
