On May 31 in Marrakech, the Ministry of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment, and Skills launched the innovative platform “Morocco Jobs Accelerator.”
This platform aims to support Morocco’s ambition in job creation, facilitate workers’ professional transitions, and improve the resilience of the labor market. Launched in partnership with the World Economic Forum (WEF), this innovative platform, the first of its kind globally, serves as a space for acceleration and global expertise to support employment initiatives.
In line with the implementation of the agreement signed in May 2023 in Geneva between the Ministry of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment, and Skills and the WEF, “Morocco Jobs Accelerator” aims to contribute to the design, testing, and tooling of innovative solutions in several key areas such as vocational training, entrepreneurship, and job creation in promising sectors. This platform also offers a favorable environment for the exchange and development of expertise, as well as the creation of synergies between national and international actors.
This collaborative environment aims to enhance employability by addressing crucial topics such as the economic inclusion of vulnerable populations and the synergy between academic and international institutions to promote employment and skills. In any case, the activities of this new platform revolve around economic growth and transformation, work, wages and job creation, skills and learning, diversity, equity and inclusion, and equitable economies.
