Territorial Equity and Professional Insertion: Mr. Sekkouri Presents Key Indicators at the House of Representatives

During the oral question session on July 22, 2024, at the House of Representatives, Mr. Younes Sekkouri, Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment, and Skills, provided responses to the questions of the honorable deputies on various topics, among which ensuring territorial equity in vocational training specialties was of particular importance. The vocational training system now includes 2,055 institutions and 145 dormitories, offering an accommodation capacity of 20,500 beds. Additionally, 100 apprenticeship training centers have been created, both within companies and in collaboration with civil society associations, to train young people in professions that offer significant opportunities for professional integration. The Minister also addressed the situation of graduates from vocational training and higher education institutions, specifying that the integration rate of vocational training graduates ranges between 65.7% and 70.3%. He highlighted that this integration rate is particularly high in some promising sectors, such as the automotive industry, where it reaches 81.4%. Regarding the study of the professional career paths of graduates three years after graduation, the results reveal an integration rate of 85%.
