Employment and international mobility : Rabat and Berlin are examining ways to strengthen cooperation

This morning,The Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills, Mr. Younes Sekkouri, held a productive bilateral meeting with the German delegation, chaired by H.E. Ms. Svenja Schulze, the Federal Minister of Economic Cooperation and Development, and H.E. Ms. Alabali-Radovan, Minister of State at the Chancellor’s office for Migration, Refugees, and Integration, along with members of the German Parliament.

This meeting presented an opportunity to:

  • Discuss current Cooperation projects.
  • Reaffirm the common Commitment to further strengthen long-standing bilateral relations, aiming towards a future-oriented partnership.
  • Explore ways to develop collaborations between the Kingdom of morocco and germany in the areas of international mobility for employment, Economic Inclusion of NEETs (those Not in Education, Employment, or Training), as well as joint investment in vocationaltraining and verticalintegration

This meeting was also distinguished by the inauguration of the Morocco-European Space for Support to Mobility and Professional Integration (EIMEA of Rabat) in the presence of Ms. The European Union Ambassador. This initiative is part of the Cooperation with Germany and the the European Union, aimed at supporting individuals in the fields of qualification and international professional mobility, sustainable reintegration, and sustainable regional migration.

The EIMEA spaces are now operational in various Moroccan cities, including Casablanca, Tangier, Oujda, Agadir, Beni Mellal, and Fes.
