COMPULSORY HEALTH INSURANCE (CHI)

Basic Regime:

Compulsory Health Insurance Regime – private sector –

Managed by the CNSS, for active and retired employees of the private sector, as well as their assigns.

Services provided

Reimbursement or reimbursement of health care costs inherent to illness or accident, maternity and physical and functional rehabilitation (CHI basket of care).

Mandatory Health Insurance Regime Public Sector

Managed by the Moroccan Fund of Health Insurance (MFHI) covers active and retired officials of the State, local authorities and public institutions, as well as their dependents.

Services provided

Reimbursement or reimbursement of health care costs inherent to illness or accident, maternity and physical and functional rehabilitation (CHI basket of care).

Basic Medical Coverage Regime for Students

Managed by MFHI and covers students from public and private higher education and technical institutions.

Complementary Regime:

Scheme regime on Mutual Status

The mutuality landscape in Morocco is made up of mutual societies created by public, semi-public and private sector personnel.

The services offered by mutuals are organized around three types:

Management of complementary services to the CHI.
The creation and management of social works.
Creation and management of supplementary pension and death funds.
